Re: Do original AIC Fans Like William DuVall?

Surely Queen of the Rodeo is the most obvious example of AIC and country?

Re: Mac Demarco

There are great live acoustic versions of "Cooking Up Something Good" and "Dreaming" on youtube from a performance/interview in France I think. The videos were great for learning how to play the songs, I even did "Cooking Up Something Good" at an open mic night 2 weeks ago (though I wasn't nearly as...

Because you would have hit all the notes and been given a round of applause instead.

Re: what is your favorite song on the temple of the dog albu

If I had been there I would have been kicked out for trying to hit the high notes on the last chorus.

I actually listened to this yesterday for the first time in years. So many great songs on there. Wooden Jesus is my favourite I think, and Chris even played it when I saw him in June 2012 (Jesus, that long ago?).

Re: Man Bites Dog - Ordinary (we've been doing this for year

Yup. I was walking past a restaurant and there was something lying on the floor outside. At first I didn't realise what it was and had to look twice, then I recognised that these weird plucked chicken looking things were actually dogs. The men outside were taking the bodies of the dogs, putting them...

Re: The Day Has Come My Friends....

Sorry Ma is one of my favorite albums. I've read the Replacements book three times...or maybe just two? They just really seem like a forgotten band. They just played here in toronto and it killed me to not be able to go because of unemployment. Of the people that went to that show I haven't encount...

Re: Breaking Bad **DEFINITELY CONTAINS SPOILERS**

I think Breaking Bad is up there with The Wire as arguably the greatest tv show of all time. The last series was amazing, my only possible complaint is that maybe the ending was a little bit too perfect: Walt got revenge on the owners of gray matter, found a way to get his money to his family, rescu...

Something similar here, including more tracks: http://www.guitars101.com/forums/f145/m ... ost1058498

The files are in flac format though so quite sizeable and will need to be converted put on an ipod or whatever. But the links work.

I'd be quite impressed if a band brought the beach and the ocean with them on stage.

Personally I think You're Living All Over Me is the place to start. Great songs from start to finish.

Re: why don't artists make music videos to all there songs

The majority of music videos are shite. I'd rather my favourite bands spent more time writing music than spending time and money recording themselves lip-syncing. (I know not all videos are like that, but a hell of a lot of them are).
