Re: Alice In Chains News Thread

With Chris's passing I have to wonder how that will influence the new AIC record. I have to imagine it's going to cast a shadow over the guys. I still can't believe three weeks ago the new broke that they were going up to Seattle to start on the album and than a week or so later Chris dies...it fuck...

Re: Second Album!

I agree with the sentiment that if they do another album it should be a tribute to Chris much like the original album was a tribute to Andy Wood. I wouldn't be surprised if their are some big time collaborations to memorialize Chris. I'd love for Eddie and Mark Lanegan to sing together and the guys ...

Re: Chris Cornell Died

Also, no love for Devil Put Dinosaurs Here? I love Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. Then again that shouldn't be a surprise from me since I generally have the tendency to liking albums that most people dislike. Also, how does everyone feel about media outlets releasing pictures of the funeral servic...

Re: Chris Cornell Died

Jan's love for Down on the Upside made me listen to it in my later years in high school and it became my favorite album. Right now I am relistening to King Animal and it is so underrated. There are many great gems on it. Will definitely give Down on the Upside & Badmotorfinger a spin. I started wit...

Re: Layne Staley story for you guys.

So my dad is a professional drummer. (Not going to give names because of privacy issues) And the drummer was sick during a tour so he did a sub. On April 4th, 2002, he tried calling him talking about some demos of his, and 2 weeks later, he found out. and so did many others. I am not lying, this is...

Re: Chris Cornell Died

Just wanted to rant somewhere on the untimely and sad death of Chris... I am totally gutted by the loss of Chris Cornell. I was a pretty big Soundgarden fan and this news just bums the fuck out of me. I have been on YouTube watching tribute videos, hearing what people are saying about him. From what...
