Re: What's your fav band (at the moment) and WHY?

There's a band I discovered a while back by the name of Mean Jeans. They're a very catchy pop-punky band. Also a lot of NoFX. By the way here's the song I enjoy most by Mean Jeans.

Re: Was Kurt holding Dave back?

Interesting point about Alone + Easy Target. I love that album and that song but never felt to look at the lyrics til now and I can see the meaning. Although that could really apply to any band he was in, Nirvana or Pre-Nirvana. I would have to think that he would have left especially seeing that he...

Re: Saddest/Most Depressing Nirvana song?

Hey everyone, yet again I took a long loooonngg hiatus. I have returned!! So I know there were many dark lyrics in Kurt's songs but the one that always touched me the most was from Heart Shaped Box. "Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back." To me that lyrics comes out as saying he...

It's not just work, it's school and a 10 month old daughter who wants my laptop every time I power it up. How I enjoy the good life, lol

Re: Upchuck854's thread?

Hey again, it's been a long while since my last post on here. I also edited a couple of my posts since I can't delete them now and take back a couple dumb things I said on here. Anyways I have had a very busy busy schedule hence no posts plus it's summer. It's been way too hot to sit behind a comput...

Re: Justin bieber the KURT COBAIN of our generation!

Twitter suggests I follow Justin Bieber, the only time I'd ever follow Justin Bieber is in a very dark alley with a very sharp knife.

Re: Ugly Kid Joe

here's a live version of their song Everything About You... in Brazil of course! :) oh, the sound is kinda shitty :? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0Ibnw58m8U Seeing this vid they seem like a G n R rip off band. The singer even looks like Axl. I'm wondering, that must be the same concert that Nirv...

Re: Ugly Kid Joe

All I can remember of this band is how they used to advertise on the back covers of comic books back in the day. I remember seeing those ads all the time and thinking how they must be this really good cool band with as many back covers of comics they were on.

Re: Hype!

I love how this movie panned out the grunge scene the right way. Grunge was way too hyped up for what it was back in the day, and that being said with no disrespect, but when you had the main 4 grunge bands getting big, it was very ridiculous to have any Seattle band who wore flannel getting signed ...

Re: The Year Punk Broke

I thought it was a decent movie. It was cool to see some of the interviews but it wasn't too exciting to watch overall. The saddest thing about it was seeing Joey Ramone and Kurt Cobain being still alive back then and knowing that the generation of today could use two punk icons like them now. When ...

Re: Shorts or Jeans? Long or short?

I personally don't care what a girl prefers to wear or judge them based on it. It's about the personality behind the clothing that leaves the open interpretations for one to judge. Sure one could see a girl in barely nothing and get the 5 second shock value but any shock value wears off with time no...
