Re: Soundgarden News Thread

It's ok. I may get blasted, but I'm gonna say it. When they said they were gonna do something that was for the old soundgarden fans (In response to the avengers son), I was expecting some BadMotorFinger/SuperUnknown Soundgarden, not Down On The Upside Soundgarden. I give this album like a 4... 6 top...

For those who may be interested - Spic Dick

I formed a new band recently. We are called "Spic Dick" because we are both hispanic. Hopefully the name offends at least one person or we didn't do our job. We are whatever we wanna be. So far that is a mixture of old Punk/Hardcore mixed with Sludge, Noise, & even Psychobilly. We have about 6 songs...

Re: Guitar Solos...do you care?

depends on music style. I get so mad when thrash doesn't have a solo. that's why I like GHOUL so much, they are classic thrash homage. they have a solo (sometimes 6) in every song

Re: Soundgarden News Thread

I don't know exactly how you mean that, but I'd rather have a band who prides themselves in presenting new material than one who merely does a "greatest hits" package all the time. Sure enough, the last two years of Soundgarden were pretty much making the band a known name again, but I love them fo...

Re: Soundgarden News Thread

Why do they have to have an album to tour? I know it's common, but why live by a rule like that? I'd definitely buy tickets if it was just to hear the bands old to newish stuff. I don't think that many people buy specifically because they will be touring their new album, I mean you buy tickets to s...

Re: It's Here! Download your new GRUNGE-FORUM-200 album NOW!

full review Mucket - Sharp Vocals are pretty sweet, not enough low grunge singers in my opinion, Drums are alright, Guitar has a nice tone, Bass is low but it may be my speakers. I like the intro a lot, the sounds. Overall song structure is pretty sweet, I dig it. Classic outro variation, diggin the...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUeHyaAMOxA NOTE! This clip actually plays a DEMO of Spoonman before it was ever fully a song! It was pretty much just guitar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-j31YoEeRU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cABtoISxzBI&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J5H8Yzf...
