Nevermind is way too glossy, I mean the songwriting is as good as anything and Nirvana could def pull off the pop thing better than pretty much any other grunge band but Vig overdid it imo

Beyond has some pretty good tracks, lots of really great hooks, it just isn't as solid all around as YLAOM/Bug/Farm IMO.

mine would probably be almost all of dayglo with some between the eyes with sunny jim and maybe another poppy track, so it wouldn't be too creative

focused on keeping it modern huh... if anything, it sounds really 60s-70s, like everybody else is sayin', so that's interesting. i don't really know what modern rock's supposed to sound like anyway though
