Re: Most powerful Soundgarden songs?

Nitesh was one of the kindest people here. As Evee said, never missed a birthday and was always supportive to everyone. It's a shame some of us didn't have the chance to meet him in person.

Re: New song: 'The One You Know'

I do feel like Will gets shafted and people try comparing him to Layne is ludicrous. Layne was a once in a lifetime voice and his work with Jerry cannot be compared. Those harmonies is what made their old records great. I've enjoyed their newer stuff, yet I have a track record for liking music that'...

I'm not mentioning the lyrics though, I'm more mentioning the downtuned guitars and ball-crushing bass and sludgy-doom pace.
yup this
Agree. It's so sludgy and dark and DAMN GOOD!

I’d set this thread up more to discuss Nugent’s music than his politics.
Of course, but when you've just become so volatile it's hard to talk about the music.

Vitalogy is my favorite album from Pearl Jam. Immortality is just a taste of the album.

Only thing I know of Nugent is Cat Scratch Fever. Other than that, don't really care for the prick.

Re: Fozzy

Funny enough, the last 6 months I've had a rejuvenated love for Chris Jericho and Fozzy. Their new album Judas is fucking fantastic! I've been listenign to the album nonstop since release.

I really recommend you listen to it.

Re: What are you currently listening to?

It's been a combination of Iron Maiden's The Number of the Beast, I have friends who would be SO PROUD, Fozzy's Judas, been on repeat since release, and Tom Wait's Rain Dogs. Finally cave in on Waits and I'm very happy. Should of started listening sooner.

Listening to Beck's new album colors and I'm enjoying the upbeat vibe and all the songs that weren't put out as singles.

Note to self: Check this out when you have time.
The little preview there already sounds rad.
Straight up when I ordered on iTunes, I know I'm bad for not getting a physical copy, it was only $3.99! Now it's $7.99, which isn't bad. I was just surprised/delighted.
