Re: Something you've worn for a REALLY long time?

There's my dad's old coat that I still wear and it's over a decade+ old. Still in good shape I might add.

Re: The cinema thread!

I'm sure Rise of Skywalker will be fine. I'm excited but keeping expectations low. Plus there's all the Star Wars content like The Mandalorian. So hyped.

New album is actually my most listened Tool album. It's a headphone album, I'm not sure if it works other way.
That's actually a good way to put it. It's a better experience to listen to it with headphones and just relax.

I enjoyed his new album as well and I"ll keep that in mind! I haven't really cared for podcasts in a while.

Re: Nirvana news thread

I think Montage of Heck is like the end of it. I know the "Deluxe" edition of the album was just mostly...crap that never needed to be heard of. Now it's just the remastering of very album and continuous Greatest Hits.

Re: Should there be a posthumous album?

It seems the Cornell estate is still bitching about song rights. Just release the stuff for the fans' sake you greedy mofos  Is it the Cornell estate or is it record companies being ass hats? Kim Thayil has never really said who's causing the issue, probably to stay in good graces. But man, I...

Re: Tool Ever Going Digital?

Well we know how this story ended now :P  They didn't release it exclusively digital though! But let's be real they made BANK with all of the albums on the top charts on Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify and so on. And that's not even thinking about Fear Inoculum, which they kind of did...

Re: There is still hope

In my senior high school courses I always have that one student (usually a girl) who's all into 90's grunge and/or 00's emo :P Girl got crazy about that My Chemical Romance reunion  One of my coworkers is super excited about the reunion. Didn't have the heart to say they weren't in my MP3 play...

Re: The cinema thread!

For me, I've been adventuring to the cinema now and honestly nothing is more exciting than watching Star Wars in a theater. Watching Rogue One in the theater had me feel things I haven't felt in watching a movie in the theater, missed out on TFA when it was in the theater. Straight up, I have loved ...

Re: Top 30 Albums

As I said, when introducing someone to Ninja Sex Party, I'll show a cover first to establish the talent. For originals, I say Dragon Slayer, Cool Patrol, Unicorn Wizard, Manticore, and 6969 are worth a listen(Danny is a HUGE Rush fan so keep that in mind for 6969)

Re: Top 30 Albums

I'm always amazed how many things I still have to listen to! Toby Fox, Starbomb, Last Shadow Puppets, Ninja Sex Party, Trocadero I've literally never listened to, can you tell me a little about their respective style, Kyle? (Sorry for the rhyme, it was pure coincidence!) Of course and I will ...

Re: Top 30 Albums

I always love seeing this thread getting a boost and when people take the initiative and do the rule of 1 Artist, 1 Album only, as for me it shows variety in what makes our music taste. I looked back at the last time I did it and realized I broke my rule! So that's a good excuse to update and share ...
