Re: do you think the reason SG is being so secretive..

I just want a new album. I'd love it if they continued their progression from heavy metal to melodic hard rock.. I loved the more melodic tunes.. :sad2:

WANT.. NEW.. ALBUM!

Re: You Are Never Gonna Believe This...

Man, this is a pretty great performance. Duvall doesn't have a coarse enough voice to do this song enough justice. He does it decently, though. How so? When I hear the studio version, Layne's voice doesn't sound coarse at all to me, weird. And in Rotten Apple? His style was very smooth and pure at ...

Re: Thoughts of another new album!! :D

they could make a new semi-acoustic EP, that'd be interesting too :) and I agree with you, SitarDust (that's a cool username, dude :) ), Duvall is much better now than on the early videos with him. Meh, it sounds so dorky and I should've made it all lower cased so it wasn't so lumpy and awkward loo...

Re: Is Hiro Yamamoto a millionaire?

Eh, I think that if a band has a genuine demand for their stuff, they deserve whatever they get s'long as they sell it directly and don't rely on a label to suck the life out of them. It is certainly hard work to make good music - much harder on your own without a fancy studio or people who can spec...

Well, actually, if you think REALLY hard about it every day, you might kill enough brain cells to.. y'know, add some extra inches. :fake:

Re: Thoughts of another new album!! :D

Wouldn't it be amazing if they really worked with Duvall and made another freaking Dirt masterpiece? I mean, is it such an impossible feat with Duvall? Maybe it's too much to ask, but, hey, I think over time people have warmed up to him. And I think he's gotten better, has naturally just chilled out...

Oh, alright, man. Thanks! I hate the barber, though.. Hopefully my sister can do it. She's pretty good like that. I don't trust any barbers.. I thought you were mad at me for something.. I'm a very paranoid, self-loathing person. I guess I think the worst in me subconsciously, because if some...

Re: Favourite T-shirt.....

Y'know, If I actually had one with Hello Kitty on it, I'd wear that everywhere. Hello Kitty is the shiznit.

Reminds me of the time some cops were driving by, and me and my friend started holding hands and getting close and the cops were like "wtf?" giving us weird looks. Silly cops..

Wait.. I've read that it's bad to trim it as it grows and it only "resets" you from the awkward phase, depending on how much you trim. I look eerily like this guy in ways, and I think I'd look better with long hair (this guy does imo), so I'm in the same boat as you, Banana. http://www.youtube.com/w...

Re: Failure

You should definetly check out some of those songs on youtube. Heliotropic, Saturday Saviour, The Nurse Who Loved Me (covered by a perfect circle), Daylight, Pillowhead, Blank, Dirty Blue Balloons, Another Space Song, are all from Fantastic Planet. Worth checking out for some solid spacey grunge/rock.

Failure

I guess they're kinda like Hum, they give off that "space grunge" vibe. "Fantastic Planet" is the only album I have by them, but after I gave it a thorough listen I loved it. "Heliotropic" and "Pillowhead" might be my favorites. "Daylight" is really good too, though, besides the other obviously catc...

"Downward Is Heavenward" is amazing. I love their vibe, some songs are really relaxing and some are just really upbeat. And I love the lyrics as well, they're pretty unique.

Re: IF Soundgarden releases a new album...

S'long as it isn't going backwards and rehashing the same stuff, I'd love anything new and different that they put out. I HOPE it could be either a bad ass record or something like DOTU.. I personally think Chris' voice nowadays is richer and more suited for the more melodic stuff anyway. I just rea...
